Edmond Clinton Pape's Obituary
Edmond Clinton Pape 76, of rural Fredonia passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at Fredonia Regional Hospital. Ed was born on November 18, 1938 in McClouth, Kansas to Grover and Ruth (Boyer) Pape.
Ed joined the United States Marine Corps at a young age. He served 20 years. Tours of Duty included Vietnam and the Far East.
On February 6, 1960 in Vista, California, Ed married Betty Rail. They were united in marriage for 53 years. Betty survives at their home. After retiring from the Marine Corps, Ed moved his family to Fredonia were he farmed and raised cattle. He also worked at Cox Grain, as well as Beachner Grain in Neodesha.

Ed was preceded in death by his parents and borther Larry Pape.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 28, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at Countryside Funeral Home in Fredonia, the family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
