Edna Marie Morrison's Obituary
Edna Marie Morrison, age 95, of Chanute, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2016 Heritage Healthcare. Edna was born on April 15, 1921 to Charlie Walter and Sarah Jane (Nelson) Chandler in rural Wilson County, KS.
On April 12, 1941, she married Eugene Matlock. They had two children, Freddie Eugene Matlock and Edna Myra Nesbitt. On April 13, 1957, she married Lowell Morrison. They had two children, Susan K. Clifford and Lowell Morrison, Jr.
Edna worked on the farm, as a waitress, at the Kansas Ammunition Plant, Birdview, Kansas State SRS, Windsor Place and many other jobs into her 80s. She enjoyed fishing, watching sports, bowling, bingo, going to casinos and most of all cooking for others.

Edna was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Eugene and Lowell; nine brothers and sisters and one daughter.
Graveside Service will be held on Friday, September 30, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Chanute. Online condolences may be left at: www.countrysidefh.com.
