EliJah James Mueller's Obituary
Infant EliJah James Mueller, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at the Sedan City Hospital. He was born to Maria Mueller and Nathan Nixon on February 24, 2016 at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center. Five-month old EliJah was a very happy baby and made everyone smile. He was attempting to crawl and loved to be sung to and was learning how to play peek-a-boo and he would laugh out loud whenever his grandpa would sneeze. EliJah also took a great liking to his Uncle Corbin, firetruck sirens and he loved fireworks.
EliJah is survived by his parents, Maria Mueller of Elk Falls, Kansas and Nathan Nixon of Pennsylvania; his brother, Cody Geffers of New York; his grandparents, Joe and Samantha Mueller, Elk Falls, Kansas; Grandmother Linda Milne in New York; Great-grandfather Jim Smith and Great-grandmother Melanie Lindberg, both of Elk Falls; close family friend, Richard Ritter; and many aunts and uncles and cousins, who loved EliJah very much.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at 10:00 am at the Elk Fall United Methodist Church with Pastor Dena Allison officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 1, 2016 from 5:00-7:00 pm. at Countryside Funeral Home in Howard. Cremation will take place at a later date.
The family suggests memorials to the City of Elk Falls Fire Department and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home at P.O. Box 1233, Howard, KS. 67349.
