Elizabeth Jane Gibbon's Obituary
Elizabeth Jane Gibbon age 83, of Centennial, Colorado, died Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at her home. Elizabeth was born on March 26, 1932 in Moline, KS the daughter of Kenneth and Hazel (McAlister) Harris.
After high school and attending college, Elizabeth married Harold F. Gibbon on July 22, 1952. Elizabeth and Harold were married for 47 years until his death of July 19, 1999. Most of their married life, they lived in Topeka, KS where she raised 5 children. She worked for Prophet Foods at the Good Year Plant in Topeka and for Josten’s American Yearbook company.
Elizabeth was very artistic and enjoyed painting landscapes. She enjoyed working in her garden. Elizabeth taught Children Sunday School for several years and loved working with children at her church. Most of all, Elizabeth loved being with her family and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harold and sister; Marion Dungeon
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 31, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Countryside Funeral Home in Howard with burial to follow at South Lawn Cemetery in Severy. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time on Monday at the funeral home.
