Elizabeth Agnes "Aggie" Paulie's Obituary
Elizabeth “Aggie” Agnes Paulie, age 83, of Chanute, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2016 in St. Paul, Kansas. Agnes was born on September 21, 1932 the daughter of George Eugene and Mary Lida (Fowler) Schoenhofer. She was the oldest of 13 children.
On May 16, 1981, Agnes married Michael C. Paulie. He survives her at the home.
Agnes grew up in St. Paul before moving to Wichita where she had 6 children. Later she moved to California where she lived for 18 years before moving to Chanute. She attended St. Francis High School and went to nursing school. In her spare time she loved to garden and enjoyed nature especially watching birds and other animals. She also enjoyed sewing and needlework. Her handmade pieces are treasures to her children. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic church and served as a member of the Church Altar Society.

Agnes was preceded in death by her parents; a son Jeffrey Shively; 1 brother and 1 grandchild.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Chanute, KS. Rosary will be recited on Monday, September 5, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at the church. Interment will be at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
