Elvira L. Wilkins' Obituary
Elvira L. Wilkins, 85, of Chanute, KS passed away in Shawnee, OK on October 22, 2017. She was born on March 16, 1932 to Jose S. and Serafina (Flores) Godinez.
She graduated from Chanute High School and worked as a waitress. She married Raymond Wilkins in Zollikofen, Switzerland on June 1, 1978. He preceded her in death on April 9, 2017.
Elvira was a devoted wife and traveled extensively throughout Europe and South America for Raymond’s job. She was a loving aunt to her many nieces and nephews and was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Chanute, KS.

Elvira was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond; and siblings, Jess Godinez, Matilde Schnedler, Pearl Crotinger, Mary Borjas, Andy Godinez, and two infant siblings.
Rosary will be held Thursday, October 26, 2017 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Chanute, KS at 9:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery in Chanute.
