Eric Wallace's Obituary
Royce Eric Wallace, age 63 of Marysville, WA, passed away suddenly on September 16, 2024.
Eric was born December 29, 1960 in Topeka, KS to Royce and LaQuita J Leighton Wallace. He grew up alongside 4 siblings and graduated from Goddard High School.
He was a proud veteran, who served in the United States Air Force for 8 years. While serving, he was stationed at McConnell Air Force Base in Wichita, KS, which transitioned into a career with Boeing. When they closed their Wichita plant, he was relocated to Everett, WA where he was the 787 Preflight and Delivery Manager on the Flight Line, retiring in 2022 after 38 years with the company.
Eric met Dashannon (Tarter) in June of 2000. In March 2015, they married and blended the families together; they have spent the last almost 25 years simply enjoying life and each other. Together, they loved to spend time on the beach, flying kites, roasting marshmallows on the fire pit, and having picnics in the mountains.
Eric was a kind soul. He loved the mountains, woodworking, and traveling. He had many hobbies and was beginning to enjoy each one during his retirement. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Dashannon Wallace

Grandchildren, Anya Oritz, Logan Wallace, Riley Wallace, Jase Wallace, Jackson Wallace, Jayton Wallace, Kennadie Freeman, Skottie Freeman, Rylee Colman

He was preceded in death by his parents Royce E and LaQuita J Leighton Wallace
A graveside memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at the Fredonia City Cemetery, Fredonia, Kansas
