Erica Gomez Seimears' Obituary
Erica Gomez Seimears, age 46, formerly of Howard, KS, passed away unexpectedly October 11, 2023 at her home in Haven, KS.
She was a graduate of West Elk High School. Erica had her problems, but she was a very loving woman that would go out of her way to help anyone. If someone was sick or hurt, she was right there to take care of them. She also loved the country life and everything that had to do with it; the music, the scenery, everything. We will always remember her stubborn, hardheaded, loving personality that made her who she was and she will be very missed.
Erica is survived by her sons, Jamie Seimears of Emporia, KS and Luis Gomez of Howard, KS; her parents, Fabian and Jackie Gomez of Howard, KS; her brothers, Martin Deanda of Waco, TX, Tony Gomez of Key West FL, Armando Gomez of Shelbyville, TN; her sister Vicky Donley of Kanopolis, KS; her grandmother Jacoba Garcia and husband Robert of San Angelo, TX; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Erica has now joined her sister Laura Gomez and grandparents Rosalio Rodriguez and Rita and Luis Gomez.
Erica will lay in state at Countryside Funeral Home in Howard, KS from 12:00 to 7:00 PM on Monday, October 16, 2023. Family will receive friends at visitation from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
Mass of Christian burial will take place at 2:00 PM on October 17, 2023 at Countryside Funeral Home in Howard, KS. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, near Moline, KS
