Erma Nadine (Brown) Gray's Obituary
Erma Nadine (Brown) Gray, age 88, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2016 in Chanute, Kansas. Nadine was born on November 30, 1927 in Brookfield, Missouri, she was the daughter of Albert and Elizabeth Brown.
In 1945, Nadine married Robert W. Holman and they had three daughters together. They later divorced.
Nadine was the owner and administrator of the Plattsburg Nursing Home, Plattsburg, MO for a number of years. In the fall of the 1966, she met William Gray and they were married on May 19, 1967, and they returned to Chanute (Bill’s hometown) to start their new life together. They enjoyed traveling, camping and their love of music.
Nadine enjoyed quilting, sewing, caring for animals and spending time with her family. Nadine was a member of the Grace Episcopal Church in Chanute.

Nadine was preceded in death by her siblings and parents, her husband Bill, daughter Cynthia Holman and granddaughter Angela Gray.
Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Chanute, KS. Online condolences may be left at: www.countrysidefh.com.
