Erma Jean Roberts' Obituary
Jean Roberts, age 88, a resident of Fredonia, Kansas passed away Thursday, June 12, 2008 at her home in Fredonia. She was born on November 27, 1919 in Benedict, Kansas the daughter of Lloyd and Faye (Singleton) Sprague.
On March 15, 1940 Jean was united in marriage to Henry C. Roberts in Wichita, Kansas and he preceded her in death. On September 30, 1982 Jean married J. Dale Roberts in Junction City, Kansas and he preceded her in death.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Fredonia. Jean was also a member of PEO, Red Hat Society, Needle Craft and the Fredonia Senior Citizens.
She is survived by:

James Michael Roberts of Wichita, Kansas
Two daughters:
Jean Diane McLain of North Pole, Alaska
Lisa Lynne Cude of Fredonia, Kansas
6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one granddaughter Jessica Jean Grandstaff.
Memorial services will be held Monday, June 16, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church in Fredonia. Inurnment will be at the Fredonia City Cemetery. Contributions are suggested to the Fredonia Flag Fund and may be left in care of the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Countryside Funeral Home, P.O.
