Evant Howard “Cowboy” McNutt, Jr., age 67, of Buffalo, KS passed away on Friday, November 18, 2016 at his home. Evant was born on November 29, 1948 in Bastrop, TX to Evant Howard and Peggy (Smith) McNutt.
On December 21, 1985 he married Charlotte McNutt. She preceded him in death in January 2008.
Evant served his country in the U.S. Army for 2 years from 1970 to 1972. He worked most of his life as a farm hand. He loved his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. He also enjoyed playing pool and cruising through the country.

Evant was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Charlotte; 2 brothers and a great granddaughter, Alexandria.
Cremation has been requested. No services have been scheduled at this time. Inurnment will take place at Restlawn Cemetery in Coffeyville, KS.
