Evelyn Maybelle Boone's Obituary
Evelyn Maybelle Boone, age 87 of Chanute, KS, passed away on November 6, 2018 at her home. She was born on February 26, 1931 in Newton, KS, the daughter of Archie Harold and Maybelle Margaret (Trego) Grimm. Evelyn married William Harvey Boone in Wichita, KS in 1959. He preceded her in death in 2014.
Evelyn was an owner of Boone Real Estate, previous owner of the Mercantile Building, and Grapevine Coffee Shop. She was also real estate investor and a member of the Kansas Association of Realtors. Evelyn enjoyed baking and spending time with her family. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.

Cremation has been requested. A visitation will be held on Friday, November 9, 2018 from 4 – 6 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home - Johnson Chapel in Chanute. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Greenwood Cemetery in Newton, KS. Online condolences may be left at: www.countrysidefh.com.
