Evelyn M Edgar's Obituary
Evelyn Marie Edgar, age 77, a resident of Wichita, Kansas passed away Sunday, July 6, 2014 at her home. She was born on May 31, 1937 the daughter of Otto and Bertha Schibbelhute.
Evelyn was a homemaker and also worked as a dishwasher for Ray and Eva’s Café in Wichita for many years.
She is survived by her sons: Harold Cook and Chester Lieker both of Wichita, her daughters: Darlene Koch of Howard, Kansas, Rose Knight of Indiana, Brenda Madden, Bobby Cox, Lillie Cotton and Pam King all of Wichita, sisters: Ida Worley of Scott, Arkansas and Faye Gill of Texas and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald Duncan, daughters: Donna Ringgold and Linda Wohking, sister Laverna Harmon, brother Gary Schibbelhute and grandson Chris Copeland.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, July 11, 2014 at Countryside Funeral Home in Howard, Kansas. Memorials are suggested to either The Salvation Army or Wounded Warrior Project and may be left with the funeral home. Online condolences may be left at www.countysidefh.com. Arrangements are under the direction of Countryside Funeral Home in Howard.
