Evelyn P. Maxwell's Obituary
Evelyn Pauline Maxwell, age 81, of Fredonia, died Monday, Wednesday, April 3, 2013. Evelyn was born on February 11, 1932 in Cedar Township, of rural Wilson County, the daughter of Frank Earl and Della Mae (Watson) Perry.
Evelyn was a graduate of Neodesha High School; she worked several years as a line supervisor in the paint room for Prestige in Neodesha. Evelyn was married to Ed Harshman and they later divorced. On May 24, 1975 in Fredonia, Evelyn married Paul Maxwell. Evelyn and Paul were married for 31 years until his death of October 12, 2006.
Evelyn attended the Assembly of God Church in Fredonia. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, and the Ladies Auxiliary. In her free time, Evelyn enjoyed gardening, and raising plants of all kinds. She quilted, repaired flags, crocheted, sewed and made dolls. Evelyn enjoyed to dance, but most of all she loved being with her family and friends.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, husband Paul, brothers David, Joe and Gene Perry and Sisters Mildred and Mary Perry and Wilda Stackley.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, April 8, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at the First Assembly of God Church in Fredonia, with Pastor Ray Pile officiating; burial to follow at the Fredonia City Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, April 7, 2013 from 5-7 P.M. at the funeral home. The family has suggested memorials to Harry Hynes Hospice and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
