Everett Andrew Richardson's Obituary
Everett Andrew “Andy†Richardson, age 67, a resident of Longton, Kansas passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at the Howard Twilight Manor in Howard, Kansas. He was born on July 15, 1943 in Johnson City, Tennessee the son of Louis South and Velma Smith.
After graduating high school Andy joined the United States Army and served during the Vietnam War. Andy worked for various carnivals for several years. He also worked as a welder and roofer.
Andy is survived by three sons: Jim Beam Richardson of Mexico City, Mexico, David Richardson and Alan Richardson both of Wichita, Kansas, his step – mother Lois South of Wichita, Kansas, three brothers: Rick South of Longton, Kansas, Lloyd South and Louis South both of Wichita, Kansas, three sisters: Lynn DeRose of Hutchinson, Kansas, Kay Snyder of Gridley, Kansas and Mildred Harrison of Wellington, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his parents Louis and Velma.
Per Andy’s wishes he was cremated. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2010 at 10:00 AM at the Community Christian Church in Longton with Pastor David Sanchez officiating.
