Evert L. Larkin Jr.'s Obituary
Evert L. Larkin Jr., 69, of Fredonia, passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Neosho Memorial Hospital. Evert was born in Winfield, Kansas on September 6, 1953 the son of Evert L. and Orlis (Gates) Larkin Sr.
Evert was a graduate of Fredonia High School class of 1972. Evert was a Millwright by trade, he worked at Cobalt for many years, Puckett Farms, and helped numerous other farmers around Fredonia. Evert was creative doing leather work, forging knives, and tinkering around on anything he could do. He enjoyed camping, hunting, shooting his muzzle loader and being involved in rendezvous. He enjoyed being outdoors, his dogs, nature and spending time with family and friends.

Evert was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Vicky Matlock
Cremation has been requested with a Celebration of Life Service to be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 10:30 AM at Countryside Funeral Home in Fredonia. Memorials have been suggested in his memory to the Fredonia Pound Pals and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
