Faith Kendall Lewis' Obituary
Faith Kendall Lewis, age 72, a resident of Fredonia, Kansas passed away Monday, September 14, 2009 at the Fredonia Regional Hospital. She was born July 12, 1937 in Singapore Strait Settlements, Asia the daughter of Howard Cornell and Marion (Kendall) Bugbee.
During her childhood, Faith lived in many parts of the world including London during the start of World War II. Faith attended Manhattan High School in Manhattan, Kansas. She also attended Kansas State University and Friends University majoring in horticulture and botany. Faith was a member of the National Cathedral in Washington D.C. Faith enjoyed gardening, raising plants, making crafts and taking care of her animals.
Faith is survived by two daughters Stephanie Starkey and her husband Mark of Benedict, Kansas, Kim Martin of Wichita, Kansas, one son Greg Allen of Wichita, Kansas, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband David W. Lewis and one son Eugene “Len†W. Allen II.
Cremation has been requested. The family will hold private services at a later date. Family suggests contributions to either the ASPCA or the American Lung Association and may be sent to the funeral home. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.countrysidefh.com.
