Fannie Marie Houser's Obituary
Fannie Marie Houser, age 83 of Fredonia, died Tuesday, May 03, 2016 at the Golden Living Center in Neodesha. Marie was born on December 11, 1932 in Havensville, Kansas the daughter of Howard and Lucille (Huntley) Flowers.
In 1952 Marie married Curtis AJ Bailey and they later divorced, on August 26, 1966 Marie married Benjamin V. Houser. They were married for 37 years until his death of November 11, 2003. Marie worked at home raising their children and working on their farm. She enjoyed watching WWF wresting, dancing, crossword puzzles and crochet. She was a great cook, but most of all she loved her family and her special dog companion Bandit.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ben, son Richard Bailey, brothers: Kenny Huntley, Bill Flowers, sisters JoAnn Brock, Mary Fisher, Grace Schafer, step siblings: Daryl Flowers, Wayne Flowers, Vicki Flowers and great grandson Eli Fowler.
Funeral service will be held Friday, May 6, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Countryside Funeral Home in Fredonia with Pastor Mike Hughes officiating, burial to follow at Koger-Cheatham Cemetery. Visitation will be held the same day from noon until service time. Memorials have been suggested to the: Fredonia Pound Pals and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
