Francis “Frenchie” Arthur Juaire, 72
“Frenchie” Arthur Juaire passed away at Via Christie St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, Kansas on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at the age of 72.
Frenchie was born to parents Joseph Jean and Wanda Elaine (Cummins) Juaire on August 31, 1944 in Winfield, Kansas. On June 5, 1965 Frenchie married Bonnie Jean (Martin) in Howard, Kansas and to this union were born 5 children, Lee Allen, Rex Lynn, Billy Joe, Jay Arthur and Polly Jean.
Frenchie loved to work on Chevy engines and shared his knowledge with his kids—even making sure his daughter knew how to change the oil in a vehicle. Frenchie worked throughout his life in construction jobs that involved the use of heavy equipment and in the oil field industry. He is fondly remembered as having nicknames for all his kids and was described as using the tough love approach while at the same time establishing routines and traditions.
Frenchie leaves behind to mourn his passing his loving caretaker, Bonnie, of the home. Sons Lee Juaire and wife Peggy of Severy, Kansas, Rex Juaire and Donna Madison of Howard, Kansas, Jay Juaire of Augusta, Kansas and daughter Polly and husband Shane Griggs of Neodesha, Kansas, sister Connie Hafner and husband Howard of Independence, Kansas and brother Rick Dilli of Independence, Kansas, 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Preceding him in death are his parents, a son Billy Joe Juaire, Brother Jerry Juaire, and Sisters Rita Hill and Pat Unrein.
Cremation has been effected and private memorial services will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and may be mailed or left at the funeral home. Online condolences for the family may be offered at www.countrysidefh.com
