Frank Augustine Stover's Obituary
Frank Augustine Stover age 74 of Altoona, Kansas, passed away at home on Tuesday March 25, 2014 surrounded by his family. Frank was born the son of August and Emma (Harner) Stover on January 20, 1940 in Chanute, Kansas.
On May 20, 1961 he married Sharon Munson at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Chanute, Kansas. Frank was proud to be farmer and he worked as a Custodian for Altoona Midway School District for 29 years.
Frank is survived by his wife Sharon of Altoona; children, Earl Stover and wife Dee of Humboldt, Becky Stover of Kansas City, Kansas, Karen Stover Elliott and husband Bill of St. Augustine, Florida, and Lisa Morse and husband Charles of Erie; siblings, James Stover and wife Ande of Chanute, Amelia Ann Klinge and husband Allen of Kansas City, Kansas, and Eillen Murphy and husband Jim of Chanute; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents August and Emma Stover.
A Rosary will be held on Friday March 28, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Humboldt. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday March 29, 2014 at 10:00 a.m.at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Humboldt with interment immediately following the service at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Humboldt.
Countryside Funeral Home Johnson Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Family suggests memorials to the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church school fund.
