Frankie Sue Bright's Obituary
Frankie Sue Bright was called home on October 11, 2019 at Glen Carr House in Derby Ks. Frankie Sue was born February 26, 1938 to Frank and Mildred Schupbach in Kiowa, Kansas.
As a young child, the family moved to Chanute after purchasing a small farm south of town, now known as the Chanute Industrial Park. She attended rural school until the 10th grade when she then attended Chanute High School and graduated in 1956.
Frankie Sue married Fred M. Bright on September 9, 1956 on the Family farm and Chanute is where they made their home. To this union four children were born.
Frankie Sue was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Frankie Sue was a life-long member of the First Presbyterian Church of Chanute, serving the church in many ways, Sunday School Teacher being her favorite. She also enjoyed for many years being a Gray Lady volunteer at Neosho Memorial Hospital Chanute, where she assisted patients and visitors, a job she took very seriously.
She is survived by her daughter, Tammie Davidson and husband Kevin of Chanute; son, Eddie Bright and wife Julie of Derby KS; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and one brother, Bill Schupbach of Yankton SD.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Fred; one daughter, Connie; one son, Bennie; one grandson, Darren and 4 sisters and one brother.
Cremation has been requested. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church in Chanute, KS at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 28, 2019. Online condolences may be left at: www.countrysidefh.com. The family suggests memorials to be made to First Presbyterian Church in Chanute and may be mailed to the church at 15 N. Steuben in Chanute, KS 66720. Arrangements have been entrusted to Countryside Funeral Home, 101 N. Highland, Chanute, KS 66720.
