Frankie Shay's Obituary
Frankie Shay age 65 of Rural Fredonia, died Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at his home. Frankie was born on November 28, 1952 in Fredonia, the son of Warren William and Frankie (Parks) Shay.
After attending school, Frankie joined the US Navy, after serving his country, he returned back home and on February 15, 1975 married Jane C. Wiseman in Fredonia. Frankie worked and retired from REC as a lineman, but his true passion was raising his cattle and being a rancher.
Frankie was a member of the Fredonia VFW. He enjoyed hunting, raising his cattle, visiting and drinking a beer with his friends. Frankie enjoyed life and living it to the fullest. Most of all, he loved his wife, children, and 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren Gavin Wilson and Emma Shay.

Linda Crain and husband Tom of Fredonia.
Frankie was preceded in death by his parents: Brothers; Bud Shay and George Shay, Sisters; Murdene Weatherby, Isabel White, and Minnie Shay, and grandson Dalton Hyler.
Cremation has been requested. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at 10:30 AM at Countryside Funeral Home in Fredonia. Memorials have been suggested to either the Fredonia VFW or the Wilson Co. 4-H Livestock Committee and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
