Fred Weatherby's Obituary
Fred Weatherby age 66 of Benedict died Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at Neosho Memorial Hospital in Chanute. Fred was born on October 16, 1952 in Fredonia, KS the son of Charles Edward and Emma Murdine (Shay) Weatherby.
Fred was a graduate of Fredonia High School class of 1970. Fred served in the US Army, and worked as an in-home care provider for Windsor Place. Fred was a member of the American Legion and loved reading a good book..
Fred enjoyed raising his animals, going fishing, and having a beer with his friends. Fred really enjoyed giving his nieces and nephews a hard time, getting them full of sugar and hyped up and then leaving them for their parents to handle. Mostly, Fred loved his family and friends.

Cremation has been requested and the family will hold a Celebration of Life on December 8, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Fredonia VFW-Durham Hall. Online condolences can be left at: www.countrysidefh.com.
