Gary E. Klufa's Obituary
Gary E. Klufa age 75 of rural Thayer, died December 25, 2013 at his home. Gary was born on May 11, 1938 in Blanco, OK. the son of Edward Darwin and Berta Lee (Kiersey) Klufa.
After high school, Gary joined the U.S. Army, after serving his term, he then continued to serve with the National Guard until his retirement. During this time, Gary earned his Master’s Degree in computer science. In 1971, Gary married Teresa Hernandez, they were married for 40 years until her death in 2011.
Gary enjoyed working on his property, planting fruit trees, and working on his individual hobbies. Gary loved to tinker around on different projects to keep himself busy. Gary cared for his animals and also volunteered at animal rescue shelters.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, and step father Clarence Nicholson, wife Teresa and sister; Kay Wilson.
Cremation has been requested with no services. The family suggest memorials in his name to P.A.L.S. Animal Shelter in Parsons, and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
