Gary Richard Lewis' Obituary
Gary Richard Lewis, age 71 of Humboldt, KS, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 in Wichita, KS. He was born on December 23, 1947 in Iola, KS, the son of Harold and Eula (Strong) Lewis.
Gary enjoyed riding his scooters and his lawn mowers anywhere he could. He was always picking up cans and cleaning up the community and became known as “The Can Man”. He liked to go scrapping with his best friend, visiting with people and drinking his soda outside of Johnson’s General Store. Gary was a great father and was always proud of his kids and most of all loved being a grandfather. He was a member of the Humboldt United Methodist Church.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents and an aunt.
