Gary Lee Whittaker's Obituary
Gary Lee Whittaker, age 64 of Severy, KS passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at the Greenwood County Hospital in Eureka, KS.
Gary was born May 5, 1955 in El Dorado, KS to Harold and Opal Whittaker. He grew up in Towanda, KS and attended Circle High School. After school, he spent 3 years serving our country in the US Army. Gary worked for Boeing in Wichita, KS, retiring after 26 years. He was a member of the Masonic Hope Lodge #155 in Howard, KS.
Gary was a loving dedicated father who had an immense passion for his family and the outdoors. When he wasn’t working to provide for his family, he was passing down his love of hunting, fishing, gardening and blowing stuff up (although not always on the 4th of July) to all his kids!

Crystal Houchin of Severy, Kansas
Crashena Wade of Severy, Kansas.
24 Grandchildren, 5 Great-Grandchildren
Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins

Sam Whittaker of California

Gladys Sherby of Blaine, Washington
Linda McVicker of Pennsylvania
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, son Harold Whittaker III, brothers: Albert, Larry, Charles, Jr., and sister Glenda June.
Funeral Service for Gary will be held on Monday, July 1, 2019 at 10:00 a.m , at the Severy Baptist Church in Severy, KS. Interment will follow in South Lawn Cemetery, Severy
The family suggests memorials in Gary's name be made to the Masonic Hope Lodge #155, Howard, and can be mailed to or left with the funeral home.
