Genevieve Emma Phillips' Obituary
Genevieve E. Phillips, age 91, of Chanute KS, went to be with our Lord on November 3, 2018 in Chanute, KS. She was born on October 11, 1927 in Neodesha, KS the daughter of Ralph and Zora (Pruitt) Ellison.
She married Warren Phillips in 1946. Before settling in Chanute in 1957, they traveled the U.S. extensively for Warren’s work as a Journeyman Electrician. Genevieve enjoyed baking, taking care of her husband and watching soap operas. She was a member of Faith Bible Church for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Warren; siblings: Calvin Ellison, Dallas Ellison, Carol Clevenger and Patty Cawthon.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2018 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Countryside Funeral Home Johnson Chapel at 101 N. Highland in Chanute. Service will follow the visitation at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Chanute. Online condolences may be left at: www.countrysidefh.com.
