GEORGIA OPAL HINKLE
Georgia Opal Hinkle, 69, of Collinsville, OK, formerly of Howard, KS, died Monday April 28, 2008. She was born September 30, 1938 in Dandridge, TN, the daughter of John M and Rosa Bell (Fawl) White.
On June 6, 1959, Georgia was married to David W. Hinkle, in Wichita, KS where they lived until 1971, before moving to Howard, KS. In 1986 they moved to Oklahoma to be closer to their family. She was married to David for 46 years until his death of January 30, 2006.
Georgia loved to be outdoors, working in her garden and flowers, and watching butterflies. She was active within the Nowata Senior Citizens and her local church attending Bible studies and Ladies Auxiliaries. She also enjoyed crocheting, reading, going fishing, and her dog Jenny. Most of all, her heart was dedicated to her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband David, four brothers and 3 sisters.
Graveside services will be held Friday May 2, 2008 at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Fall River, KS at 2:30 pm, with Pastor Arlis Heninger of the New Life Assembly of God Church, Nowata, OK officiating. Visitation will be at 10:30 am until noon Friday, May 2, 2008, at the First Baptist Church in Howard, KS. The family suggests memorial contribution to the American Heart Association, and can be mailed to Countryside Funeral Home, P.O. Box 247 Fredonia, KS 66736.
