We are so saddened to hear of Brown Bear's passing. We chatted every week at the library. He was a great guy to be around and was always so positive. He will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
Gilbert was a very nice man to everyone. As children, both of our families were in the same neighborhood just a block away and Gilbert’s family had an Green Apple Tree in their back yard so most of the neighbors kids experienced climbing that tree. We worked together at Farmers Market on West Cherry Street, I was a checker & Gilbert was a great carry out boy. He always seemed to have a funny & great personality that everyone always enjoyed their time when in his presence, I know that I definitely did. He was always so polite too when I’d see him at mass or out in public. I know that his presence will be missed by so many family and friends, I’m so sorry for your loss. May God be with you and May Gilbert Rest In Peace through Eternity with Jesus Christ Amen
