Glade Nelson Marr's Obituary
Glade Nelson Marr age 86 of Fredonia, died Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Yates Center Health and Rehabilitation Center. Glade was born on May 9, 1930 in Coyville, KS, the son of Clarence “Boots” and Ruth Irene (Nelson) Marr.
Glade was a graduate of Hughson High School, of Hughson, CA class of 1948. On September 9, 1949 in Carson City, Nevada, Glade married Wanda F. Smith. Glade and Wanda have been married for 67 years until his death, Wanda survives at their home in Fredonia.
Glade worked many years as a logger/lumber jack, and retired from farming. Glade loved to travel, they would take many trips on their motorcycle and or motor home. He was an avid reader and would spend time at the library, where he would also visit his friends there. Glade was always on a quest to travel and find the best places to eat, fried chicken was his favorite. Most of all he loved being with his wife and his family.

Glade was preceded in death by his parents, one son Larry Glade Marr and 2 brothers Jim Earl Marr and Bill Henry Marr
Cremation has been requested. Online condolences may be left at www.countrysidefh.com. Memorials have been suggested to the Fredonia Avenue of Flags or Harry Hynes Hospice and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
