Glenna Marie Erbe's Obituary
Glenna M. Erbe 88 of Altoona, died Saturday, April 13, 2019 at the Neodesha Care and Rehab Center. Glenna was born on November 19, 1930 in Rural Earlton, the daughter of Claude and Mabel (Wiles) Carter.
After graduating from High School, Glenna worked for Sinclair Oil Company until her marriage. On March 4, 1955 in Independence, KS, Glenna married Monte Erbe. Glenna and Monte were married for 63 years until his death of February 15, 2019.
After their marriage Monte was called for active duty, Glenna continued to run the family farm and raise their children until his return. Glenna enjoyed a large flower garden, and taking care of her family.

Daniel Erbe and his wife Janiece of Altoona, KS
2 Sister in laws:
Retha Carter of Altoona
Wilma Jean Erbe of Neodesha.
5 Granddaughters: Laura Erbe, Jessica Blackmore and husband Brian, Heather Alexander and husband Matt, Jennifer Meigs and husband Mike and Christine Jones-Klepack and husband David.

Glenna was preceded in death by her parents, husband Monte 2 brothers: Dean Carter and Gale D. Carter and 1 sister Margie Carter.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 19, 2019 at 10:30 AM at Countryside Funeral Home in Fredonia. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to service time. Burial will be a private family service. Memorials have been suggested to the Neodesha Care and Rehab Center and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
