Gregory "Greg" Owen Adams' Obituary
Gregory Owen Adams, age 54 of Fredonia, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 18, 2022 at Fredonia Regional Hospital.
Greg was born November 14, 1967 in Wichita, KS to John and Joann (Roney) Adams. He grew up in Fredonia alongside 2 sisters, and attended Fredonia schools with the class of 1986. On May 25, 1996, Greg married his sweetheart, Gay Lynn Taylor at the Assembly of God Church in Fredonia. Together they have 2 sons, and have spent 26 years together.
Before he was even a teenager, Greg began learning about tractors, which started a life-long passion. He loved working on them, especially Allis Chalmers, which turned into owning his own tractor mechanic shop. If you were having an issue with your tractor, odds are pretty good that Greg could tell you what was wrong with it and get it fixed.
When Greg wasn’t working at his shop, he enjoyed antique guns. He knew quite a bit about them as well, and loved to go out shooting targets. He also had a passion for his family and his Lord. He loved to spend time with his family and was always concerned for them all. He enjoyed his time in Church, and was a member of the Grace First Assembly of God Church in Fredonia.
Greg was a great son, husband, and friend. He was loved by everyone that knew him and will be greatly missed.
