Hanne Lore Fiscus, age 90, died Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Fredonia Regional Hospital.
Lore was born July 16, 1930 in Furth, Germany, the daughter of Otto Puhler and Elise Essendorfer Puhler. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Bobby, her brother, Robert Puhler, a grandson, Keith Fiscus, and her ex-husband, Gene Fiscus.
Lore came to the United States in 1952 and married Corporal Richard Eugene Fiscus with whom she had her children. She worked as a CNA at Fredonia Regional Hospital for many years. Lore (affectionately known as Afro Granny) loved to cook, knit, crochet, play card games and Wii bowling (she was the champ) and spending time with family. She also loved her time at the beauty salon having her hair and nails down while visiting with friends.
She leaves behind her sister, Anni Stenzel of Erlangen, Germany

Family will receive friends at visitation from 4:00 to 6:00 PM on Friday, July 16, 2021 at Countryside Funeral Home in Fredonia, KS
Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at the Fredonia City Cemetery, Fredonia, KS
Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Heart Association and can be mailed to or left with the funeral home.
