Harold Edwin Compton's Obituary
Harold Edwin Compton, age 74 of Chanute, KS, passed away on April 23, 2018 at NMRMC in Chanute. He was born December 28, 1943 in Bellflower, CA the son of Raymond and Lavon (Ballenger) Compton.
On September 14, 1963, Harold married Sharon Allen in Tijuana, Mexico. He worked as a diesel mechanic for Catalina Pacific Concrete in California for many years. Harold also drove trucks for short period of time. He spent most of his life in California and was a member and really involved in the Masons, American Legion and the Elks. Harold enjoyed socializing and drinking with his buddies down at the Sting. Harold loved his family and will be greatly missed.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Jeffrey Scott Compton and David Alan Compton and sister, Phyllis Sievers and Luann Compton.
Cremation has been requested. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2018 10 a.m. at Neosho County Memorial Park Cemetery in Chanute, KS. Online condolences may be left at: www.countrysidefh.com. Memorials have been suggested to the COPD Foundation and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
