Dear Shirley and family my condolences for the passing of Dale such a very gentle and hard working man. God bless you all. Such a privilege knowing you and having good neighbors as friends.

So sorry for your loss. Doug and Teresa Frydendall.
I have known Mr Cook most of my life, the memories of Marty, Matt and I have to be brushed away from my face, He was and still is a very good friend, just in heaven instead of here.
I have big beautiful memories of the man. He was a great dad to you guys, and a humble, loving father figure to your friends. He was a man we could turn to in time of need without judgment; knowing he’d be stern but fair, cautious but fun, humble but proud. He got me out of a bind, but never held a poor decision against me. Instead, praised me for coming clean and making the wise choice in the end. I loved him for that. My condolences, Matt. Please give your mom a hug from me.
... I shared the above on Facebook. I just wanted to make sure your mom saw how much Dale meant to us. In fact, I've been surprised, given how little contact I've had through the years, how often his memory has popped into my head this week. I guess he was a great anchor for us rowdy teenage boys.
Unfortunately, a co-workers mom has suffered the same fate as Dale this weekend, and COVID already has us short-staffed.I will miss the service. Sending my love your way. - Buddy Mangine

You are all in my prayers. Unfortunately, a rotten coincidence, a co-worker’s mother just suffered the same fate as Dale, and COVID has caused a staff shortage. I will not be able to make it to the service. Sending my love your way. - Buddy Mangine
