Harold Lilburn "Bud" Folck's Obituary
Harold Lilburn “Bud” Folck, age 86, of Toronto passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2012 at his home. Harold was born on June 20, 1926 in Junction City, Kansas the son of Lilburn Peterson and Helena Johanna (Roesler) Folck.
After completing High School on January 29, 1945 Harold served in the U.S. Navy during WWII where he served as a Hospital Corpsman until his Honorable Discharge. He later completed two years of schooling at Kansas State University and worked as a x-ray technician for the Hertzler’s Clinic in Halstead and the Allen County Hospital.
On January 2, 1950 in Junction City, Kansas, Harold was married to Leona “Pepper” Ross. Harold and Pepper were married for 62 years. Pepper survives at their home.
Harold was a member of the American Legion Post #325 of Toronto, KS. Harold enjoyed going to dances, and being outside, he enjoyed to fish, hunt, camping and going sailing. He enjoyed watching different birds and wildlife, but most of all he enjoyed watching the sunset with his wife and family at Toronto Lake.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents and daughter Susan Carol Raner.
Cremation has been requested and the family will hold a private memorial service at a later date. Memorials have been suggested to either the American Legion Post #325 of Toronto or the Toronto Library Youth Center and may be left with the funeral home.
