It was always so fun to catch up with Hazel on my visits to Chanute to see Mom and Dad. Her humor was infectious and she kept all of the "coffee girls: and their daughters smiling from ear to ear. We dearly miss you golden girls.

My mother-in-law and Hazel were coffee buddies. I was introduced to her vivacious personality in that fashion. I attend the FUMC and had multiple conversations with her there. She was always dressed to the nines.

Hazel was one of the Chanute Coffee Ladies”. She and our mothers started this. When we daughters were home they would drag us to coffee too! Before long we were dragging our mothers there! Hazel had such wit and great stories!! We will all miss her!! Martha Mccoy
