Hazel M. Woods Faulkner's Obituary
Hazel M. Woods Faulkner age 93 died Friday, June 22, 2018 at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center. Hazel was born on March 17, 1925 in Sherman Township, MO., the daughter of Albert Leslie and Linnie (Noland) Doyle
Hazel was a graduate of Benton High School, class of 1943. On March 12, 1946, Hazel married Norman Woods, they were married for 9 years until his death on December 22, 1955. On July 5, 1968 she married Jack Faulkner, they were married for 19 years until his death on March 30, 1987.
Hazel worked several years as a cook at the Fredonia Elementary School, she then started working for the Kansas Bank Note in Fredonia and after 22 years of employment retired in 1987. Hazel was a member of the Severy United Methodist church, and the United Methodist Women’s group. Hazel enjoyed doing embroidery work, and spending time with her church family and friends. Most of all, Hazel enjoyed watching and hearing about her grandchildren.

Hazel was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, son Eddie Woods, daughter Judy Barnhart and granddaughter Ann Bell and sister Alice Jean Woods
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2018 10:30AM at the Severy United Methodist Church with Pastor Susan Galvan. Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 27, 2018 from 5-7 PM at Countryside Funeral Home in Howard.
