Helen Nadine Barb's Obituary
Helen Nadine Barb age 92 of Owasso, OK, formally of Fredonia, KS, died Saturday, February 11, 2017. Helen was born on March 22, 1924 in Eureka, KS the daughter of Arthur and Evelyn (Cheever) Henderson.
Helen was a graduate of Fredonia High School class of 1942. She worked at the box office of the Theatre, Kansas Bank Note and later she was the opening manager of the Peter Pan Ice Cream Shop for many years and then went to work for the Fredonia Health Mart until her retirement, where she moved to Owasso to be with her daughter and granddaughter.
On February 14, 1943, Helen married Delbert Rex Barb. Helen and Rex were married for 30 years until his death of May 20, 1973. Helen enjoyed working in her yard raising flowers and feeding birds. She enjoyed going camping, taking family vacations to the Florida beaches, and collecting angels. Helen enjoyed the company of her cat Coco and grand-dog Oliver, but most of all she loved being with her daughter and granddaughter.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, husband Rex and son in law Rick Bittle.
Cremation has been requested. Visitation with the family will be held Thursday, February 16, 2017 from 4-6 pm at Countryside Funeral Home in Fredonia, Friends may also stop by anytime during the week to sign the register book.
