Ruth is one of the people I wished I had known all my life. We met when my husband and I started going to Westview. I always admired her....such a sweet, gentle, thoughtful person, always having a loving smile. Her comments in the Sunday School lessons were always instructional. One day as I was a bit late getting to the nursing home service; our Pastor had her playing the piano ahead of the service. OH MY, HOW I LOVED HER STYLE, her talent, and how her music told the story of the hymn she was playing. She did honor me at the piano that day as she was feeling good so I led the singing. She attended a few more times but always said she didn't feel like playing except for one more time. I honored her wishes but loved her all the more. She sat just behind my husband and I in worship service; when I joined the choir so didn't sit with him, he would always comment as we were going home on something they said or just how lovely she looked. He is now in a WONDERFUL locked facility at Ft Scott, very content, but has lost all memory. I think of Ruth often and will always remember her very fondly. You were blessed with a wonderful Christian example that we need so many more of in this life. God bless you all. In loving memory, Merridith Kimberlin
