Heartfelt condolences to Howard's family and many friends. My parents, Vernon and Glenna Defebaugh always admired Howard, enjoyed his ornriness, and cherished his friendship. My mother had known him since they were 10 when she said he was a shy little boy. I will remember his wonderful smile and kindness, and that we share a birthday. Rest in Peace.
We went to a lot of square dances with Howard and Donna. They were a great couple to share these many times with. We will miss seeing him at church every. Sunday. Jack and Charlott Colborn
The old coffee club is back together in Heaven. I can imagine the smile on the Lord's face watching them flip for who pays. If you were at the Grain bin around 10:00 am, one of Howards favorite places to eat, you Know what I'm talking about. He will be missed. The Wayne Lea family
I’m saddened to hear of Howard’s passing. I worked with Howard at Denison’s Welding Supplies, Fredonia, KS during the early 70’s. He certaining was a dedicated representative of the company. I remember one time when I hid his hat at the office and all the fun we had giving him clues on where to find his hat!!! He was relieved when the hat was on the seat of his truck where he had left it!! Needless-to -say, I had help from my co-workers, (Howard always had to have that hat on when he was meeting his customers). Please know your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. May God’s Spirit comfort you during the following days.
