Howard Dee Tindle's Obituary
Howard Dee Tindle, 87, of Fredonia, passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Morningstar Care Home in Fredonia. Dee was born on July 3, 1937, in Lafountaine, KS., one of eight children to Claude and Mary (McKinney) Tindle.
Dee worked for 33 years at the ADM plant in Fredonia as an operator, however he ranched and farmed his entire life. Dee was a true cattleman, worked hard his entire life, he loved being horseback, watching cattle for the Stotts Ranch, helping with the Fredonia Sale Barn, including his own farm and helped many others. Dee was still riding horses up to the last year or two.
Dee had a true love for his Greyhound dogs, going coyote hunting and his horses. Dee was also a member of the Buxton Christian Church. On September 9, 1955, in Yates Center, KS., Dee married Shirley Duckworth, this September would have been their 70th wedding anniversary. Shirley survives at their home.

Dee was preceded by his parents, and siblings: Maxine Likes, Pauline Jenkins, Mary Lou Ingle, Bethel Cade, Bill Tindle, Joe Tindle and Janice Lewellen.
Cremation has been requested, with no services planned at this time. Memorials have been suggested to the Buxton Christian Church and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
