Howard Dwayne Rees' Obituary
Howard Dwayne Rees age 77 of Humboldt, KS passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at Allen County Hospital. Howard was born on November 11, 1942 in Rich Hill, MO the son of Clarence and Mabel (Winters) Rees.
Howard worked at the Ace Hardware Distribution Center until his retirement. He was an avid fan of the K.C. Chiefs and enjoyed the Mizzou Sports programs. On November 19, 1983, Howard married Dixie Clark, they have been married for 36 years and she survives at their home. Known as a quiet and kind man, Howard enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Howard was preceded in death by his parents, infant daughter Carolyn Sue, Son-In-Law Chris Vandiviere and 3 brothers: Paul, Clovis, and Don Rees.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 22, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Countryside Funeral Home 101 N. Highland, Chanute with Pastor Ron Dykes officiating. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to service time, burial to follow at Mt. Hope cemetery in Humboldt. Memorials have been suggested to either the Humboldt Volunteer Fire Dept or Biblesta and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
