Hunter Allen Wallace's Obituary
Hunter Allen Wallace, age 2, of Chanute, passed away Sunday, August 7, 2016 at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City. Hunter was born on December 8, 2013 in Chanute, KS, the son of Shane Allen and Melody Ann (Smith) Wallace.
Hunter loved being outdoors. He enjoyed playing in mud puddles and riding tractors and horses. Anytime the skid loader started up, he wanted to have a chance to ride it. He loved animals, especially grandma’s fish, and would always ask to go see it. Hunter just recently discovered worms and loved to show off his findings. At church, Hunter liked to go around and shake everyone’s hand. He brought a lot of smiles to people’s faces.

Hunter was preceded in death by his grandfather, Milton Smith in 2008; great grandma, Joyce Wallace in 2015 and great grandpa, Clifford Meireis in 2014.
Visitation will be on Thursday, August 11, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. at First Christian Church in Chanute, KS. Funeral Service will take place on Friday, August 12, 2016 at 1 p.m. at the First Christian Church in Chanute, KS. Online condolences may be left at: www.countrysidefh.com.
