Jack Kenneth Ivey's Obituary
Jack Kenneth Ivey, age 74, of Fredonia, Kansas, died Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at Fredonia Regional Hospital. Ken was born August 22, 1937 in McComb, MS the son of Gordon Beecham and Hazel (Alexander) Ivey, Huebner.
After high school, Ken served in the National Guard. On July 16, 1960 in Fredonia, Kansas, he married Mary Marsha Pinnell. Ken and Marsha were married for 51 years. Marsha survives at their home.
Ken worked as a Seismic Driller, doing oil exploration off the coast of Alaska, and later in life he retired from A.D.M. in Fredonia. Ken attended the Cornerstone Christian Church. He was an avid Chiefs fan, he would almost miss church if there was a game. Ken enjoyed looking out at his pasture to view the horses that he raised. In his spare time, Ken enjoyed farming and spending as much time as he could with his grandchildren. Ken was generous and a good provider to his family.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents, twin brother Curtis Ivey, and brother; Delton Ivey. Stepfather Bill Huebner and several step brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 9, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at the Cornerstone Christian Church in Fredonia with Pastor Mike Hughes officiating. Visitation will be from noon until service time at the church. Memorials have been suggested to the Cornerstone Christian Church and may be left with the funeral home.
