Jacqueline E. Beck's Obituary
Jacqueline Elsie Beck, age 78, of Chanute, KS, passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Heritage Healthcare in Chanute, KS. Jacqueline was born on January 6, 1939 in Paw Paw, Illinois, the daughter of Claude and Ruth (Johnson) Luce.
She graduated from Paw Paw High School in 1956 and later attended NCCC in Chanute, KS. Jacqueline married Gene Beck on October 7, 1956. They had three children together and later divorced. She worked as a C.N.A as a home health aid for Harry Hynes Hospice, Tioga and many hospitals in Parsons and Pittsburg.
Jacqueline loved people and enjoyed helping others. She accomplished her goal and received her C.N.A in home health aid. As a home health aid, she enjoyed visiting and taking care of people. She also helped with the senior dances and enjoyed dancing. Jacqueline was a member of First Baptist Church Mother’s Club, A.B.W., President of Senior Citizens and a member of the First Baptist Church in Chanute.

Jacqueline was preceded in death by her parents and son, Kevin Beck.
A funeral service will be on Monday, October 30, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Chanute, KS. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Chanute.
