James C. Ward's Obituary
James C. Ward, age 59 of Fredonia, died unexpectedly Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at Via Christi St. Joseph Hospital in Wichita, KS. James was born March 10, 1948, at Neodesha, KS to Milo J. and W. Gertrude (Pease), McGinnis, Kee.
James was a truck driver for Frank Bills Trucking, and he also worked for Boeing in Wichita, Ks. James had many activities that he enjoyed doing; he was a mobile D.J., and also enjoyed street rods and motorcycles. One of his favorite activities was cooking and catering meals for people, he was well known for his deep fried turkeys. He was a past member of the Shriners and Masons both in the Wichita area. In his spare time he enjoyed woodworking, but most of all he enjoyed his family.
In 1983, he married Linda Robbins, they later divorced.

One son: Jeff Ward and companion Teresa Valintine of Fredonia, KS
One Daughter: Kimberly Ward Pekrul and husband Kevin of Fredonia, KS
One Brother: Mike Ward of Andover
3 Grandchildren: Taron Ward, Mackenzie and Zander Pekrul
He was preceded in death by parents.
Graveside services will be 10:30 AM Saturday, November 17, 2007 at the Fredonia City Cemetery with Pastor Gene Benefiel officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, November 16 from 6-8 pm at Countryside Funeral Home.
