James Fredreick Cooper Jr.'s Obituary
James Fredreick Cooper, Jr. was born in Omaha, Nebraska on March 15, 1957, to James Cooper Sr., and Lois (Baker) Cooper. He likes to say that only the best people were born on that day.
He grew up in Council Bluffs, Iowa until moving to Highlands, Texas, where he lived before returning to Iowa.
He passed from this life on September 15, 2021, in Fredonia, Kansas where he had moved to be close to his son.
James loved music and played the guitar as often as he could and if he couldn’t play, he would talk about it. To all things there is a time and his time was now. May he and the love of his life, Theresa be happy together again. The end and beginning to a rocky love story.
Survivors include his daughter Jamie Michelle, son Ray (Sheri) Barger, sister Sherrie Williams, brother William Darrell Cooper, sister Peg (Joe) Wurth, nephew Kevin, great nephew Jackson Cooper, niece Trista Rene Penny Cooper, and his wonderful granddaughters.
His wife Mary Theresa Cooper preceded him in death, as well as both of his parents.
