James G. "Jim" Dannels' Obituary
James Garland “Jim” Dannels age 62 of Toronto, KS, died Monday, February 15, 2016. Jim was born on June 19, 1953 in Neodesha, KS the son of Richard and Karen (Talley) Dannels.
Jim was a graduate of Truman High School class of 1973, Independence, MO. On July 3, 1982 Jim married Judy Onckelet.
Jim worked most of his life as a Union Carpenter for Local 315, one of his memorable jobs he worked on was the renovation of the Union Station in Kansas City. Jim was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was a member of the Fur Harvesters Association, and the Masonic Lodge of KC. Jim was a friend to everyone he met, but most of all he loved his children

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 19, 2016 at 1:30 PM at Countryside Funeral Home in Fredonia with Pastor Nathan Brock officiating. Visitation will start at 11:00 AM prior to the service, with burial to follow at the Altoona City Cemetery. Online condolences may be left at: www.countryisdefh.com. Memorials have been suggested to either the Kansas Fur Harvesters Association or the American Diabetes Association and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
