James Allen Hoffman's Obituary
James A. Hoffman, 65, of Chanute, KS passed away Friday, December 16, 2016. James was born on June 25, 1951 in Mulvane, KS to Ralph A. and Gertrude (Born) Hoffman.
On May 24, 1969, he married Barbara Simpson. They later divorced. James worked at Custom Campers and then Nu-Way Campers for 28 years. He then went to work at B&W Trailer Hitches in Humboldt until his retirement this past year. James enjoyed fishing and riding Harley motorcycles.
He is survived by his daughter, Tonya Hoffman of Strong City, KS and a son, Jeremy Hoffman of Chanute. A brother, Ralph B. Hoffman (Judy) of Thayer, KS, two sisters, Grace Marie Winchester of Santa Fe, NM, and Sandra Gouvion (Ron) of Chanute, KS. Four grandchildren, Matthew (Alyssa) Hoffman of Fort Worth, TX, Aaron (Ashley) Hoffman of Austin, TX, Jordyn Hoffman of Strong City, KS, and Hannah Hoffman of Chanute, KS. Three great-grandchildren, Lane, Ross, and Austin Hoffman.
He is preceded in death by his parents and many aunts and uncles.
A private interment will take place at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery.
